Hi, great site! A lot of my friends think I'm crazy
when I talk about these shows, so maybe you could
give me some background info. on them.
First, this show about a young guy who was in an
accident with his car and they became one. Turbo Teen?
The other is about a Rubik's Cube that came to life when
it was solved.
Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
D.J.
Hi Dennis,
Both shows were produced by Ruby-Spears Enterprises. Turbo Teen was the story of a top-secret government experiment that went awry when Bret Matthews (voiced by Michael Mish), a high school journalism student, accidentily crashes his sports car through the walls of a test laboratory and is struck by a ray from a machine, causing him to become one with his car. He would turn into a car whenever his temperature would rise, and used this unique ability to fight crime and solve mysteries. His secret was shared by his friends, Pattie (voiced by Pamela Hayden) and Alex (voiced by T. K. Carter), who would assist him. The series ran on ABC-TV from September 8, 1984 through August 31, 1985.
Rubik, The Amazing Cube first appeared as part of ABC-TV's "Pac-Man / Rubik, The Amazing Cube Hour" in September 1983. It was spun off into it's own half-hour show in April 1985. The series dealt with the famous multi-colored cube, which comes to life and has magical fantasy adventures with three younsters, Carlos, Renaldo and Lisa. Rubik's voice was provided by Ron Palillo.

What was the first production in the series,
Stingray or Thunderbirds and in what year?
Were there any more of these shows made
in super marionnette vision?
To the best of my knowledge, these are the series produced in SuperMarionation by Gerry Anderson:
Adventures of Twizzle 1956, Torchy the Battery Boy 1957, Four Feather Falls 1958, Supercar 1959, Fireball XL5 1961, Stingray 1962 - 1963, Thunderbirds 1964 - 1966, Captain Scarlet 1967, Joe 90 1968, Secret Service 1969.
There are several great sites on the internet dealing with the productions. Here are a few:
I hope this helps. The sites above have links to many other sites of interest to SuperMarionation fans.

Does anyone remember a cartoon that
was on in the 80's called Foofur?
Hi Michele,
I sure do remember Foofur. The good-natured blue hound dog, created by Phil Mendez and voiced by Frank Welker, was a Hanna-Barbera/SEPP Production that aired on NBC-TV in 1986. The Executive Producers were Freddie Monnickendam, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The Producer was Paul Sabella and the Supervising Director was Ray Paterson.
In addition to Foofur, the other characters included Rocki, Annabell, Hazel, Louis, Fritz-Carlos, Pepe, Chucky, Dolly, Mel, Fencer the Cat and a whole lot more.

Hello.
Congratulations for site. It's really cool.
I'm a fan of Hanna-Barbera's cartoons. I'm from Brazil.
>I'd like to know the best way to get me some
cartoons in video (mainly the olders).
Could I find them here in Brazil or only in United States?
>Please send me an answer.
Thank you from now!
Oi Paulo,
Here in the United States the Hanna-Barbera cartoons are currently being released through Warner Home Video. Very little is currently being released, especially not the older cartoons. They used to be released by Worldvision Home Video, Goodtimes Home Video, Hanna-Barbera Home Video, and Turner Home Video. Since Turner merged with Time-Warner the video output from Hanna-Barbera has shrunk dramatically. I'm not sure who would release it in the Brazilian market. The other issue would be the broadcast standard. Tapes released in the United States would not be viewable in Brazil without a converter to translate the NTSC signal to PAL (I beleieve Brazil is on the PAL standard. Please correct me if I am mistaken.)
Well, I know that this has not been much help, but I hope you can track down the Brazilian distributor of Warner Home Video. Thank you for the positive comments on my pages.

There used to be a cartoon set in the ?Ozarks?
It had Pos the possum, Billy bear, Owlawicious (sp?)
the Owl and a couple of other animals. By the voices
and animation style, I think it was by the same producers
as the Mighty Heroes.
What was the title of that cartoon?
Thanks.
The cartoon you're referring to was indeed produced by Terrytoons. Possible Possum, Billy Bear, Owlawishus Owl and Macon Mouse, a group of animals inhabiting Happy Hollow (all voiced by Lionel Wilson), began their adventures in 1965 as a theatrical series distributed by 20th Century Fox. They came to TV in the 70's as part of the re-packaged Astronut Show. Other short series included in the later TV release were Sad Cat and James Hound.

I'm looking for "Ludo". Remember, "Oh, winged horse
of white, take me on a magic flight" (or something close to that).
I'd really like to find videos for sale, but that may be asking
for too much. I did have a friend who rented a video a few
years back, but I've moved since then & I'd really rather buy
it than rent it. Anyway, if you find any info whatsoever,
I'd love to know. Thanks a lot. Have a great day!
Hi Debbie,
The horse you're referring to was Luno, who with his young master Tim relived history and fairy tales through the transcendental powers of the great white stallion.
The 1963-64 cartoons were directed by Connie Rasinski and Art Bartsch for Terrytoons and released originally through Twentieth Century Fox.
You can find a picture of Luno on the Toon Tracker Terrytoons Page
The cartoons had been released on video in the 1980's by CBS/FOX Home Video and re-released by Video Treasures, but unfortunately are no longer available. Your best bet would be checking out older video rental stores or watching stores like Best Buy, Wal-Mart or K-Mart for close-out sales.

Hello, my name is Young Lee. I'm wondering,
I used to be a big fan of Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse.
Where would I get some information on the cartoon?
Can I still get copies of old episodes? Is their a FAQ
list for this cartoon?
Young Lee
Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse are featured on Toon Tracker's Courageous Cat Page
As for availability of videos, several episodes were released in 1990 by United American Video Corporation. These may still be available, or may show up discounted at K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Best Buy or other stores which offer close-out videos. Good luck.

I am looking for the name of the dog (and the name
of the cartoon) that when he got a biscut the said "ummm, ummm, ummm"
and floated in the air and then back down again.
Thank you
Lorelei
I received this request at 0920 in the morning. I immediately sent this response:
Hi Lorelei,
I received a similar question on June 2, 1997, and it was answered on the Toon Tracker Request Archive 5
Here is the answer that I posted:
"The character you're referring to was Snuffles, a treat loving canine who helped Quick Draw McGraw and Baba Looey track down their adversaries in The Quick Draw McGraw Show, a Hanna-Barbera cartoon originally seen in 1959. All three of these characters were voiced by the multi-talented Daws Butler."
I hope this helps you.
Shortly thereafter, I received this reply:
Thanks - the whole office can now go back to work!
Lorelei
Well, Lorelei, here is Snuffles, doing his tricks:
